glpk package missing?
I have a piece of code (from Xie et al. 2009 Autophagy 5:217) that runs in R and requires the glpk package. A year or so ago, I was able to download and install the glpk package directly from insider the R program (for Windows), and everything worked fine. Now I have installed R for Windows on a new computer, and I cannot find the glpk package on the list of available packages on my local

If I try to invoke the expire-tool like /usr/local/sbin/dovecot --exec-mail ext /usr/local/libexec/dovecot/expire-tool --test I get [root at m ~]# /usr/local/sbin/dovecot --exec-mail ext /usr/local/libexec/dovecot/expire-tool --test Error: read(/var/run/dovecot/dict-server) failed: Remote disconnected Hmm. Trying to define exclude with an include list
...all machines but also backup the /u1/important directory. I tried converting the list to a filter like: + /u1/important - /tmp - /var/tmp - /var/lock .... - /u1 But this didnt work, then did + /u1/ + /u1/important - /tmp - /var/tmp - /var/lock .... - /u1 This backed up /u1/important but also backued up all of /u1 as well. I then tried an include list and an exclude list: rsync -azH --include-from=myinclude.list --exclude-from=myexclude.list . machine:/newdest. This also failed. Is there any way of having an exclude list but having an overriding include first? -- Daryl Sayers...

Samba as Domain Member Server Authentication Problem
I've been working for hours with Samba on Ubuntu Server 9.10 (Samba version 3.4.0), trying to get it setup simply as a fileserver that performs authentication to an NT 4 server (yes, I know, old and out of date). After much struggling, I finally realized that my configuration *was* working when the clients connecting (from XP, and Win2k clients, mostly) were actually joined to the domain

I can't access Linux shared folder from Windows XP.
Hi I would be grateful if somebody would tell me why can't I access shared folder on Ubuntu 5.04 computer (computer name is my-computer) from my Windows XP computer (its name is tablet-pc). I am using Samba 3.0.10-Ubuntu. I see this folder in Windows XP but when I try to access it I get error "\\My-computer\backup is not accessible. [...] Network access is denied."
