-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Good day to all. In one of the offices I'm administering there are about 15 UPS marked with the brand "Ippon BackPro". This brand is widely popular in Russian Federation, while by itself is a 'Made in PRC' megatec clone. RE nut drivers
...; compatibility list. I found that it works with "fentonups" driver and > have ups.model "Unknown S163-1000". Ithink "1000" is from capacity - > I've seen in Internet someone have RealSmart 800 identified "S163-800". > Also PowerMan have "BackPro" series - people write it works with > genericups, type 4. thanks for these info. blazer_usb vs. Ippon Smart Power Pro 1400
...(NUT version compiled from trunk r2240, stock Fedora's libusb 0.1.12-10). With libusb version from RHEL4 compiled for Fedora 8 there were no success in getting device to work. I had tried every subdriver but it looks like this device it pretty much buggy just like the Phoenix one used in Ippon BackPro and it requires slightly different reading scheme to work with RHEL4 libusb. Will test it on CentOS 4.8 tomorrow. - -- Best regards, Alexey Loukianov mailto:mooroon2 at mail.ru System Engineer, Mob.:+7(926)218-1320 *nix Specialist -----BEGIN PG...

Which driver should be used for PowerMan 2000 Real Smart ?
Hi, folks! Which driver should be used for PowerMan 2000 Real Smart? Backpro 1000 Plus is successfully monitored by genericups/upstype=4, but this's not working for RealSmart2000. Somebody wrote in blogs at http://k001.livejournal.com/270848.html that RealSmart can be monitored using "fentonups" driver but this is false on my box. WBR, Ilya

Blazer_usb driver almost supports Centralion Titan Elite, but not quite
Hello, I have a UPS branded as "Energit MXE II" that comes with the infamous Winpower software (as already discussed in this old thread <http://nut-upsdev.alioth.debian.narkive.com/m0FWk43o/blazer-usb-compatibility-with-ippon-backpro-upses-phoenix-power-co-ltd-usb-to-serial-controller>). This same UPS appears to be sold as "Centralion Titan Elite" and maybe other names too. My system runs Kubuntu 14.04 LTS, and I got some recent NUT version from this ppa <https://launchpad.net/~dobey/+archive/ubuntu/systools/+s...
