main adsl fail, backp and test
hi all,
I have a firewall with 2 gateways. Router A (main, adsl), router I
(backup, isdn).
In case of failure of adsl I switch to isdn. How can I know when it is
time to go back? Which is a standard way to test the adsl line?
TIA

VirtIO drivers and CentOS 5.4(Final)
...that in order to use the virtio drivers i need to be using
the kernel >=2.6.25 , but i am using the kernel version 2.6.18 in my
guest VM. I am actually able to use the virtio drivers in my VM even
with this kernel version and hence i wanted to know if they are stable
to be used.
Did red hat backport these drivers to CentOS 5.4 ? If yes , Can you
please point me to any bug to track this backport activity or any
announcement of this backport task ? I need that to show to my team so
that we can release note this information as part of releasing our product.
Appreciate your help in this re...

Hotplug issues on USB removable media.
Hi,
As a part of the next stages of the time-slider project we are looking into doing actual backups onto
removable media devices such as USB media. The goal is to be able to view snapshots stored on the
media and merge these into the list of viewable snapshots in nautilus giving the user a broader
selection of restore points. In an ideal world we would like to detect the insertion of the

Preferred backup s/w
Hi all,
What is the current preferred method for backing up ZFS data pools,
preferably using free ($0.00) software, and assuming that access to
individual files (a la ufsbackup/ufsrestore) is required?
TIA,
