Request to edit https://wiki.centos.org/Cloud/AWS
The list of non-AWS Marketplace AMIs in https://wiki.centos.org/Cloud/AWS
is extremely outdated. I would like to request either edit permissions (or,
more likely because you don't know me) an active editor of the page who
would not mind edits being submitted via email.
Username: JeffreyBachtel
Location: Cloud/AWS
Thanks and regards,
Jeff

CID debugging help needed
...CID information
sent for calls inside the PBX, versus calls originating outside. Could
anyone shoot me some links with detailed pointers on debugging such a
situation? I've explored the wiki, but did not find the incarnation
needed to see exactly what chan_zap is doing.
Thanks,
Jeff

Linux-HA and Asterisk
We have gotten stuck trying to get a highly available Asterisk cluster
fully functional. We used Linux-HA with Asterisk 1.4.11 on privtae IP's
behind the virtual public IP. I got as far as getting phones registered
and being able to place calls that rang and you could answer, but there
was no audio. So, I enabled RTP debugging and discovered Asterisk was
still attempting to send the audio

CID spill after second ring
...processing if a good result wasn't
obtained, but would it be possible to get this sort of workaround
(with a better max retry safety count) integrated into the mainline
code? I'd hate to think my successor would need to keep patching code
to have CID work in our environment.

Another State Of The Punctuation Mark question - Vonage
There was a flurry of "Vonage is going to unlock SIP" activity last
year; did anything productive ever come of it?
Are *you* using your Vonage lines directly into Asterisk?
In lieu of that, for a 4 line small business that doesn't need to pay
Vonage $150 a month, who? Broadvoice? Someone else?
I'm a touch unimpressed with the fact that BV's website *won't quote

Puppetlabs-firewall and Logging
We''re testing out the Puppetlabs-Firewall module. And it seems I''m either
missing something fundamental or Logging/Accpet works/doesn''t work in an
irregular way. I would be most grateful for some input.

Can't seem to get modulepath attribute recognized by puppetmasterd
Warning - Puppet newby here.
I am trying to set up a puppetmaster 3.3.2 and have run into a snag right
out of the box.
I want to add a new directory to modulepath= in /etc/puppet/puppet.conf
So I added the following line in the [main] header
modulepath = /etc/puppet/modules:/opt/our-repo/puppetmaster/modules
And populated new new directory with modules I have written.
I then run
