R CMD check for packages in a bundle
...D
check on
each one individually, as it takes a long time to run on all three.
I am
having problems.
The bundle as a whole passes R CMD check, but fails when I cd to the
bundle
directory and run R CMD check on a package directory.
The whole bundle passes:
octopus:~/scratch% R CMD check ./BACCO
* checking for working latex ... OK
* using log directory '/Users/rksh/scratch/BACCO.Rcheck'
* using R version 2.2.1, 2005-12-20
* checking for file 'BACCO/DESCRIPTION' ... OK
* looks like 'BACCO' is a package bundle
* this is bundle 'BACCO' version '1.0-29'...

bundle deprecation
Hi
I read that bundles are to be deprecated in 2.10.
The BACCO bundle contains three packages
(emulator, calibrator, approximator) which I
am happy to unbundle.
But the 'BACCO' moniker has some considerable
cachet for me in terms of recognizability (eg
with grant-giving bodies), as it has become an umbrella
term for a whole bunch of related statistica...

new package bundle on CRAN: BACCO
Dear List
please find on CRAN a new R bundle, BACCO, for Bayesian analysis of
random functions, comprising two packages: emulator and calibrator.
Package calibrator implements:

which zip file is the emulator package?
Hi. I'm trying to run the elliptic package on my computer (windows
platform, version 2.7.2). I downloaded the elliptic package zip file
from
http://lib.stat.cmu.edu/R/CRAN/
and installed it, but it says that it needs the "emulator" package.
Can you tell me where to download this? The only similar package by
name is 'emu_4.0.zip' which is not 'emulator.' I also

(no subject)
I'm trying to hunt down an appropriate kriging package for my specific
application, and I was hoping someone on the R list might have some pointers
-- I'm interested in performing kriging and related spatial interpolations
with one of the R packages, but I need to be able to provide my own
point-to-point distances (e.g. I do not want to use standard between point

Kriging for d>3
Hi,
I'm looking for software that can perform kriging on systems with dimensionality higher than 3, say d=5.
Are anyone aware of packages in R that can do this?
Thanks,

Routing through a Point to Point link
Hi all,
I have two identical linux boxes (A e B), each one with two interfaces: an
ethernet (eth0 with ip 192.168.1.50) and an hdlc (hdlc0). The two boxes are
only connected via a link through their hdlc interfaces. Because they have to
be exactly the same, if I have to assign an ip address to hdlc0 of A then
the hdlc0 of B should have the same ip address. Each one should have a
