custom metric for dist for use with hclust/kmeans
Hi guys, I've been using the kmeans and hclust functions for some time now and was wondering if I could specify a custom metric when passing my data frame into hclust as a distance matrix. Actually, kmeans doesn't even take a distance matrix; it takes the data frame directly. I was wondering if there's a way or if there's a package that lets you create distance matrices from

...Windows 2000 machine to the UNIX Samba share on that same machine, a CR/LF appears at the end of each line instead of just the CR, making UNIX unhappy when I go to run those scripts. Any way to have Samba strip the LF from the end of each line?

[LLVMdev] is there some canonical way to extend liveness?
In other compilers I've worked on there were special pseudo instructions (or similar mechanisms like adding extra source operands to returns) that allowed you to artificially extend lifetimes of values. For instance we might have a requirement that a certain local (say the 'this pointer') remain live throughout the method. Is there anything like this in LLVM? -------------- next part
