Hi, I have Samba up and running as well as winbind. I have ran some tests to confirm that yes indeed winbind is able to query the Windows NT 4.0 PDC for user/group/password information. However I am having difficulty understanding how to set shares up in samba so that I can apply permissions to them using my Windows user information rather than creating each user on samba with the same password

...to enter UNIX usernames and passwords that I have supplied. Windows seems inisitent on predicating each username entered with either a Domain or simply their %computername%\username. Hey All, I am trying to get Samba to work with winbind and ACL's on Fedora Core 2. So far so good as far as getting winbind to work with Samba but I am having trouble getting Samba to recognize ACL's. I am wondering if there is a command I can run to determine if my Samba install is ACL capable... Any ideas? Cheers, Travis
