Dir-merge exclude filter ignored when rsync DEST ends in /.
Hi,
I encountered this behavor when switching my excludes
from global exclude filter rules to dir-merge rules.
If the spezified DEST directory has a trailing dot dir
the exclude filter rule "exclude /foobar"
inherited from dir-merge is ignored
and the file gets deleted.
But I'm not quite sure if this behavor is a bug or feature.
Test:
$ mkdir src
$ touch src/object

Asterisk 11 SRTP: unsupported crypto parameters: UNENCRYPTED_SRTCP
Hi All,
I have Asterisk 11 talking to Avaya over SIP trunk using TLS and SRTP.
On incoming calls from Avaya asterisk complains of 'unsupported crypto
parameters: UNENCRYPTED_SRTCP' and rejects the call with '488 Not
acceptable here'
Doesn't Asterisk support UNENCRYPTED_SRTCP as crypto parameters in sdp?
FYI SDP looks like this.

Using attachment_dir with plugin zlib corrupt mails
Hello:
I have found the same problem reported above by Patrick Cernko affecting our system and corrupting our messages. Even worse, Outlook 2016 will no synchronize and the clients cannot see any message, even if there is only one corrupted mail per mailbox.
I cannot figure out a feasible workaround for our system, and I can see that in new version 2.38 the bug is not fixed.

SIP 603 Declined error message
I have a SIP trunk from my Asterisk server to an Avaya CM server. If I place calls inbound, everything works fine. If I place calls outbound, originating from the Asterisk box, everything works fine (I have done this with the use of the .call files). If I setup an extension with the findme-followme feature and have it try to hair-pin a call back out the same trunk to the Avaya, I get a

Using attachment_dir with plugin zlib corrupt mails
Can you test if https://github.com/dovecot/core/commit/5068b11e594ad7cc1f7cedf2bd9280520e0e534d.patch <https://github.com/dovecot/core/commit/5068b11e594ad7cc1f7cedf2bd9280520e0e534d.patch> fixes it for you?

Rsync with direct I/O
As far as I can tell rsync doesn't support this. How hard would it be
to implement this? Is it trivial enough to just change the calls in the
code with sed? I think this can significantly reduce CPU usage and
increase I/O speed when dealing with fast storage solutions. It can make
a huge difference when say transferring 30TB of data.
Here are some tests I did. So far the only thing I know

WARNING: using attachment_dir with plugin zlib can corrupt mails
Hello list, hello Dovecot developers,
this week, I discovered a serious bug in Dovecot, that lead to several
broken mails on our servers. The bug corrupts the first few characters
of the mail header during saving. On our setup, it was almost always
only the very first line of text, that was corrupted.
Depending on the IMAP client (they seem to request different header
fields, ... during mail

rsync from tar
I use rsync to backup an application's file system state to a
repository. Later if we want to refresh a test environment with the
application's file state at that given point in time, we can use rsync
to get the test environment into that state.
Rsync works well for this purpose, but it would be nice if we could
rsync to/from a tar (or other archive format) file. Since our use of
rsync is

[PATCH] One more -x to not traverse cyclic bind-mounts
This patch allows one to repeat the '-x' option a third time to stop
rsync from traversing potentially cyclic bind mounts that are on the
same filesystem.
For example, the following scenario would cyclically traverse the bind
mounts until the OS (Linux in this case) hits a maximum traversal count,
thank goodness. Other OSes may traverse the bind mount indefinitely...

AMI timeouts
Hi,
We're using Asterisk 1.8.0 to run a call centre. There is a Java
process which talks to Asterisk through AMI, which is part of the
software stack that presents a user interface to the call centre agents.
We're seeing a strange issue with AMI. Most of the time, it doesn't
cause problems, because the Java code is written to cope with it, but
occasionally it does, and, in rare

[PATCH net-next v11 0/5] Enable virtio_net to act as a standby for a passthru device
The main motivation for this patch is to enable cloud service providers
to provide an accelerated datapath to virtio-net enabled VMs in a

enables hypervisor controlled live migration to be supported with VMs that
have direct attached SR-IOV VF devices.
