link_to scope / avaliability in a controller
I''m having my first stap at Rails today and I''m having trouble working
out the scope and avaliablility of some of the methods.
Specifically link_to. It seems to be avaliable in an rhtml file, but not
in a controller? Is that correct?

Recently I have obtained a 2.0.5a source distribution and when I tried to compile the source I'm receiving the following message at the end

Satellite ocean color palette?
Dear List,
Is there a color palette avaliable similar to what is used in satellite ocean color imagery? I.e. a gradient with blue on one end and red on the other, with yellow in the middle? I have tried topo.colors(n) but that comes out more yellow on the end. I am looking for something similar to what is found on the CoastWatch web page:...

Add text/numbers to x axis?
...-1 -0.5 0 0.5 1 C 1.5 2
My attempts to use locator() and text() in R's plot() has not been working
as good as expected. Never really knows where the added symbols end up...
BTW, anyone who knows how such "dumb" plots could be achieved in R? This
option is avaliable in S, so a port to R shouldn't be impossible, should
it? Don't know how to do it myself however...

Cross build Makefile

mingw tools I get an error about expm1 being undeclared when first found
at src/main/arithmetic.c:1019
If I fiddle a bit with it later on I also get errors about log1p bein

Any idea what should I look for?
I am using R 1.9.0 in Debian, with R-mathlib avaliable, and gcc 3.3.
Thanks,

I am a newbie on FreeBSD, I search at the archive and Google for this

I'd like to ask you guys if anyone knows any other virtualization
software avaliable, preferably free for personal use.

Elasticity in Leslie Matrix
...ers,
I would like to calculate elasticities and sensitivities of each parameters
involved in the following transition matrix:
A <- matrix(c(
sigma*s0*f1, sigma*s0*f2,
s, v
), nrow=2, byrow=TRUE,dimnames=list(stage,stage))
The command "eigen.analysis" avaliable in package "popbio" provides
sensibility matrix and elasticity matrix (same dimension than A). I would
like to know if there is a way to calculate separetely the elasticity of
sigma, s0, f1, f2, s and v ?
Thanks and regards,
privalan

More than that i do not even find this package in my list of possible

Its possible than the name has changed, or the package is not longer
