autoupdate broke
When attempting to perform autoupdate after my 'autogen.sh' broke, it says that there is missing a file called: dovecot/core/doc/wiki/Makefile.am But in the Github repository, there is a misnamed file named "Makefile.am.in". I think this file is misnamed and should be renamed to "Makefile.am". https://github.com/dovecot/core/tree/master/doc/wiki

dhcpd proxy and/or windows autoupdates
At one of our sites we have most outgoing ports blocked and everyone going through squid for web access. But it seems Windows autoupdate doesn't pick up the local users proxy settings so we ended up opening port 80 to some of the windows update servers. While searching around I found and option called custom-proxy-server but I don't see that setting in the man pages. Anyone have

spreadsheet-style autoupdating
Dear all, I am curious whether one can automatically update, say, a column in R, similar to how spreadsheets (Excel, etc.) do? In my specific case I have two columns with logical data, which individually convey different information, although ultimately for a common purpose (flagging for removal). I would thus need a third logical variable that would take TRUE if any of the prev. columns take

Samba BIND9_DLZ autoupdate PTR
Hello, I have installed Samba 4 AD with bind9_dlz and automatic update. (https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/BIND9_DLZ_DNS_Back_End#Setting_up_Dynamic_DNS_Updates_Using_Kerberos) Is this only working for A records? The PTR is not updated, or my setup is not complete. Where should I include /var/lib/samba/private/named.conf.update ?? Include this in /etc/bind/named.conf is no allowed. (unknown

Samba BIND9_DLZ autoupdate PTR
I have set this option to yes. I think the problem is on an other place. The DHCP server is not the DNS Server. And I don't know how does the dhcp inform the dns server. I a classic setup without DLZ somethink like the following is working well. zone "example.com" in { ... include "/etc/bind/update-policy"; } zone "30.168.192.in-addr.arpa." { ...

[LLVMdev] Registering '-march=' option for LLC
Thank you for replying to me. As you recommended, I modified configure.ac in autoconf folder. But I’m not sure about how to regenerate configure. Sorry… I tried to follow the way introduced in README.TXT in the autoconf folder. It asks me to run autoupdate on all the m4 and configure.ac. And then it asks me to regenerate configure script with AutoRegen.sh. However, when I did that, I got an error

yum check-updates script not working correctly
Hi all... A few weeks ago, I installed (and configured) the three recommended scripts to run yum update check via cron.daily on my CentOS 5.6 server (a Dell 2650). Although it is clearly configured to "check only", it appears to be updating, instead. Has something (environmentally?) changed between the version of CentOS under which those scripts were originally authored and version

Modifying a FACT Value In a Manifest
In my network every subnets default gateway is X.X.X.1. That router gateway is always running ntpd which I want to give be default as the ntp server in every hosts ntp.conf. Since there is no official "default gateway" fact yet, what I want to be able to do in my manifest is take the $ipaddress fact and turn it into the gateway for that subnet. For example... IP = 10.1.1.12 GW =

CentOS 6, yum-updatesd
Back in the Fedora docs I found on a google, it mentions that in FC6, the preferred tool for updates was the "new" yum-updatesd. Anyone know: a) what theological reason upstream had to drop it altogether, and b) what's the recommended replacement - is it yum-cron? I hand-update some servers, and of course users' workstations, but some system, like home directory servers and
