user/domain-dependent autosubscribe ?
Newbie alert! Dovecot 2.0rc3 I've got autosubscribe working very well, but I need to make it dependent on the domain - e.g. domain example.com will have folders (a,b,c), while domain example2.com will have (d,e,f). Any hints on how to achieve that? /Per Jessen, Z?rich

Autosubscribe to public folder
Hello everyone! I am trying to migrate from Dovecot 1.2 to Dovecot 2.2 and I can`t find information how to subscribe all users to public folder. In Dovecot 1.2 I have a few strings kind of "autosubscribeX = Public.Documents" and every users get subscribed to this Public folders and can`t unsubscribe. This is a goal. Is any posibility to make the same in Dovecot 2.2 or each user have to susbscribe to public folders themselves and this is kind of policy of Dovecot 2.2? -- ? ?????????, ??????...

Sieve/autosubscribe subfolder
Hi, I just ran across the annoying issue, that with lda_mailbox_autocreate = yes lda_mailbox_autosubscribe = yes set, parent folders of newly created subfolders get subscribed without being existent. Let me give an example: In sieve I use fileinto "foo/bar"; but "foo/" does not exist as folder. So the Mailbox "foo/bar" gets created, but without "foo/" being...

Can't save to folders
When I login through imap, I can see everything in ~/mail/ just fine. I cannot save to any of them. If I have an autocreate-autosubscribe folder (ZZZ here), it shows up as empty (correct). Then if I save something to it through imap, a file ~/mail/ZZZ appears, but nothing actually gets saved to it. Valid config for lda_mailbox_autosubscribe with dovecot 1.2?
Hi, Due to some reasons I've to support both dovecot 1.2 and dovecot 2.x, and I just found that the -s parameter I used to autosubscribe to sieve folders doesn't exist anymore in dovecot 2.x The problem arises because (AFAIK) in postfix's master.cf you can only specify one configuration, and I used to have this: dovecot unix - n n - - pipe flags=DRhu user=vmail argv=/usr/lib/dovecot/deliv...

Auto-subscribe to folders
...e users will have an autocreated Junk folder (for SPAM) and we want the users not to be un-subscribed for this folder; so if the user wants to be unsubscribed (from outlook, webmail, etc), there are two options: a) the action is rejected or denied; b) the next time he/she logins, then the folder is autosubscribed again. Could this be done? How? Thanks in advance.

Automatically subscribe to the INBOX folder
...nfiguration section in the usual fashion (as shown in conf.d/15-mailboxes.conf): namespace inbox { inbox = yes mailbox Drafts { special_use = \Drafts auto = subscribe } ... } When I connect to an account with the Thunderbird mail client, those mailboxes/folders get autocreated and autosubscribed. Good! INBOX, however, does not get subscribed to automatically. When I look at the account?s subscriptions in Thunderbird, all folders are subscribed, except INBOX. How can I enable autosubscribe for the INBOX folder (like the other folders)? Is there an option for this? This is in Dovecot 2.2...

difference between namespace auto=subscribe and autocreate plugin
Hello. I read docs, but still do not understand difference between following configuration options: namespace inbox { # Create and subscribe to folder mailbox Drafts { auto=subscribe } and `autocreate' plugin plugin { autocreate = inbox.Drafts autosubscribe = inbox.Drafts On wiki page that describes `autocreate' plugin i read: ... mailboxes that must always exist for all users. So even if user delete Drafts IMAP folder on next connection server will create it. Is `mailbox' undocumented feature? I see it only in configuration file, but wik...
