Polycom autoprovision behind a NAT
I am having an issue with doing FTP auto provisioning of Polycom 501's when
they are behind a NAT. If I put the phone on the same subnet as the
provision server it loads the configs and changes fine but as soon as I put
in behind a NAT it comes up with cannot contact boot server. I have tried
behind and replicated this behind a PIX 501, a Linksys SOHO router and a
Motorolla SOHO router.

autoprovision 200+ linksys phones setup
Hi there,
We have plans to install an office (not call center) with the following setup:
200 linksys 942 phones (sip + g711) on a LAN
a server with a dual port E1 sangoma and a remora card with 4 fxo modules.
So far when we want to setup a linksys phone, we need to use the http
interface of each phone, disable/enable a lot of things and plug it
into the network. this is not the best scenario for

Sipura 2100
I am wondering if anyone has sample XML config for the Sipura 2100 ATA.
We have been autoprovisioning our 2002s with success and the 2100's take
the same XML that we have come up with, but I am not sure of the syntax
for specific things that I need these boxes to do, such as turning T.38 on.
If anyone is willing to share their xml for autoprovisioning Sipura
2100's, it would be much

Polycom dhcp boot
Hi all
I have a few Polycom 331's but after following allot of advice I can't
get them to provision from a dhcp boot server. We have a sonicwall
router in place.
I can press setup and set the FTP boot server to my * box. From there
th phones boot fine. But I cannot get them to autoprovision.
I have tried dhcp option 66=ipaddres. 66=FTP://PlcmSpIp:PlcmSpIp at 192.168.1.1/

[OT] Yealink Phones
I've just started deploying these (well the T28P model) after years of
Snom issues and they look pretty good (although the documentation is
execrable; if you thought the Snom stuff was obtuse Yealink have got
them knocked into a cocked hat!).
Anyway, for provisioning I use HTTP with a DHCP entry like:-

Cisco Phones
For those of you running Cisco phones, did you start out with a Cisco
CallManager and move to Asterisk? And if you did switch do you find that
you or your users are missing features they once had? How have you
handle the issue?
Thanks

snom mass deploy help
Hi
I am trying to setup asterisk to do a mass deploy of some snom phones. I
can't find where i configure asteriks to listen to the multicast
address, nor where to set the notify reply.
I was hoping to not have to use dhcp options

Best phone for easy provisioning
Does anyone have any recommendations for a phone that has easy to
understand/implement central provisioning? I've used CISCO 79XX phones,
and they're great (but too expensive). I like Grandstream phones, but
their provisioning sucks.
What is everybody else using in large environments where individual
config is not an option?

Please share your mail setup with me if you are running samba4
Hi Guys, I had no luck so far getting openchange installed onto samba 4.1.4
and wondered if I am on the right track here regarding emails for users. I
will appriciate it if anyone can share their setups with me so I can
estimate what will be the best way forward.
The plan so far.
Run Samba4 as a file server.
(this is working in a test enviroment)
Run Samba4 as a DC with Active Directory
