Centos 4 - text based install - LVM ?
Has anyone gotten this to work ?
I can define a raid device but cant put a VG on it. I then tried
'autopartition' and it created an 'LVM' of sorts, when I tried to edit
it I wasnt able to as a message appeared saying, LVM editing was not
allowed in text mode.
Any help ?
Cheers,
Brian.

CentOS 7 text mode install
...error: "Could not open X display"
Thus I try inserting "text" instead of "cmdline". Everything else works fine except for "4. Install Destination".
I have 2 disks: one regular SATA disk, another m.2 Samsung XP941.
I chose 2nd disk: m.2, then it show only autopartitioning options
1. Replace Existing Linux system(s)
2. Use all space
3. Use free space
I do not want autopartitioning at all. I have created EFI GPT based partition table already. And I have specific layout plan for CentOS 7 because I have other systems (debians). I know, if I do not choose...

[LLVMdev] Adding and removing functions from Module
Hello,
I am new to LLVM so apologies for a possibly basic question. I am trying
to autopartition some codes into pieces so that I can compile these
pieces with different backends. My idea is to create one module per
desired piece, and transfer the functions from the module I am visiting
to these newly created modules, deleting the function in the previous
module and adding it to the new on...

CentOS 7 install software Raid on large drives error
Greetings -
I am trying to install CentOS 7 into a new Dell Precision 3610. I have two
3 TB drives that I want to setup in software RAID1. I followed the guide
here for my install as it looked fairly detailed and complete
(http://www.ictdude.com/howto/install-centos-7-software-raid-lvm/). I only
changed the size of the partitions from what is described, but ended up with
the disk

anaconda in centOS 4 fails to read md raid arrays
Has anybody encountered this problem?
I have a box that has FC2 installed. I wanted to trash the FC2
installation and install CentOS 4.
I have a pxeboot/dhcp/kickstart environment and so I tried automatic
disk partitioning (clear all partitions and then create new ones),
manual disk partitioning but everything else is automated and finally,
zero automation, just a manual installation through

Hi,
I've had this like since last saturday or something. I don't seem to be

There is ISOs and .torrents
Know yourself out and try it out please. If you have something less
than Ultra Sparc, you're out of luck with this as it's
