search for: automcomplet

I''ve been searching for a way to implement a search feature across articles posted in a table. All the google results I get refer to "live" search and I''m not interested an automcomplete function, but because of the prevalence of tutorials on the subject, I can''t seem to find what I want. I have implemented a search in PHP before where I had MySQL perform an indexing on a couple tables and then I could perform a sort ranked by relevence. Is there any advice you all coul...
