Hello, I have a new file server and i want it automattically to replicate with another server so if one fails, the other one takes over immediatelly! can i do this with samba as file server ? And what other software do i need ? cheers, Phil.

Hi, folks, testing zfs. I'd created a zpoolz2, ran a large backup onto it. Then I pulled one drive (11-drive, one hot spare pool), and it resilvered with the hot spare. zpool status -x shows me state: DEGRADED status: One or more devices could not be used because the label is missing or invalid. Sufficient replicas exist for the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.

I recently finished the first part of the "Agile Rails" book. But, the depot doesn''t completely work as it should. I still have 2 problems: I will explain them in 2 threads.
