Hello, we run samba 2.0.6 on Solaris2.6 and use it together with clearcase (version 3.2.1). Sometimes the checkout of files from a clearcase NT-client hangs and probably causes clearcase to destroy the viewstore. On my old Centos 7 server I had set up a LDAP database for user authentication by other services (the server locally uses normal PAM authenticatin). I set it up originally from a web page describing how to set up an LDAP server for use with MS Outlook clients (which never worked) Is there any (easy to follow) instructions anywhere to tell me how to back up this service and restore it onto a new one?

...and then the querys> I also tried default_pass_scheme = PLAIN and same error occurred.. I'm confused because earlier versions of dovecot has worked so well and smoothly. I am running samba-2.0.7 on solaris 2.6 in domain mode Windows clients are 98/nt/w2k I was just wondering if 2.0.7 supports NTLMv2 I am asking this because lately some w2k clients are having issues with authentication... how do i check what if when client is requesting SMBnegprot to the server what NTLM version samba server is responding thanks Abdul Javid
