...re connected with no special parameters.
Can something be done on dovecot configuration to prevent from generating
those dovecot connections processes?
Or is it the problem with NFS configuration?

SAMBA config. (security=domain)
...sswd -j <DOM> -r <PDC>.
After all, starting nmdb and smdb, I could see a share, previously
created with swat, to which only a registered domain user (i.e. foo) can
access. Trying with Windog98 (and with the foo account) to go into this
directory the Linux Box doesn't seem to ask for authantication of the
user, infact it requires his password. Besides even if I provide the

samba ldap and pam without -with-ldapsam option
...y can i found in lots of examples
configuration file the two lines
"obey pam restrictions = Yes" and "encrypt passwords = Yes" ?
Can the pam support retreive the value of the attributes defined in the
directory (logon script, logon path ...) or can samba and pam just act as the
authantication service ? If it can't, does the --with-ldapsam is the only
solution
to solve my problems ?
Tahnks a lot

OpenSSH 4.3p2 on Solaris 10 and PAM
Hi,
We have a Solaris 10 system that authanticates users against an LDAP
server with password management.
On port 22 runs Sun SSH 1.1. On port 2222 runs OpenSSH 4.3p2. OpenSSH
uses a configuration from a Linux system where login with password or
public key works.
Adittionally we have a customized PAM module that grants/revokes access
based upon an attribute setting in LDAP.
The PAM
