Re: Problems with ext3 fs
Hi,
I have read this thread and want to say that I have expirienced the same
problem.
Once, when I was loged in, one of my filesystems ( root filesystem :( )
became read-only with the same symptoms.
But results was more tragic. Almost in each directory avg. 10% of files
had incorrect attributes, owner, links, etc.
But filenames was correct. So, I was obliged to re-create root
filesystem :(

I have taken your samba-3.0.0beta2-1.src.rpm, added a little sparc thingy tp
the spec file, and made a "new" src.rpm, and a sparc binary rpm. NTW, Aurora
SPARC Linux is based on Red Hat Linux, currently ansel release on 7.3 and a

If you want them, how do I upload them?

Aurorae for Compiz
Hi Compiz Devs,
as you might know I started about a year ago to implement a new theme engine
for KWin called Aurorae. It is a SVG/Pixmap based engine. The theme format is
SVG as soon as the SVG get's resized a pixmap is created and put into KDE's
pixmap cache. This makes painting very fast while resizing kind of slow (not
an issue with KWin as resizing is already slow ;-)), but at least for me it
does...

[RFC] NEC SX-Aurora VE backend
Hello,
we’d like to propose the integration of a new backend into LLVM: NEC
SX-Aurora TSUBASA Vector Engine (VE). We hope to get some feedback here
and at EuroLLVM about the path and proper procedure of merging.
The SX-Aurora VE is a Vector CPU on an PCI-E Accelerator card. It has
48GB memory from six HBM2 stacks, accessible with 1.2TB/s bandwidth, 8
cores with vector and scalar units, each.

Logging options
Hi,
is it possible to configure dovecot's logging so it logs stuff like
"User x logged in from IP/Host y and had z new messages" like I'm used
from qpopper?
That immensely helps when debugging PEBKAC issues.
Enabling auth_verbose isnt really helpfull since a failed login
generates 4 lines, some even without a pid - so it's a bit hard guessing
which log entry belongs to

[fsblk@aurora.uaf.edu: Bug#138828: flac: strange decode output]
retitle 138828 flac: progress display is broken with long filenames
thanks
I don't think it's a gnome-terminal issue, as I've seen the same behaviour
with xterm in the past. I've never bothered doing anything about it because
it seems to be purely cosmetic; the operation still completes successfully.
I'm forwarding this bug upstream.

tamaño de rolling window (series temporales)
Hola!!
- Train: 1 año + 1 día, test: día 2 -->

Stupid newbie question
Is there a configuration file in asterisk used for modifying Daylight savings time or is this strictly being dictated by linux?

There are a bunch of us working on LLVM in Austin. So we're organizing a
LLVM Austin Social in September. The social will be on Wednesday,
September 12 from 5 pm at the BB Rovers Cafe and Pub. It'll be great to

Winbind/idmap_nss search request to LDAP
Hello,
I have a PDC and BDC servers with an OpenLDAP backend. It works fine
for a 500 users office.
I also have some servers with LDAP NSS and PAM and Samba with
idmap_nss backend. It also works fine. The configuration for theses
servers is:
[global]
workgroup = AURORA
...
idmap domains = AURORA
idmap config AURORA:backend = nss
idmap config AURORA:readonly = yes

Round error?
Hi all,
I have tried to compute a p-value for a hypergeometric distribution as:
dhyper(x,k,l,n) + phyper(x,k,l,n,lower.tail=FALSE)
and sometimes obtained negative values. Do you know if it is because a
round error or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance,

[LLVMdev] TableGen backend support to express relations between instruction
Hi Jakob,
Here is the first draft of the patch to add TableGen backend support for the
instruction mapping tables. Please take a look and let me know your
suggestions. As of now, I create one mapping table per relation which
results into a long .inc file. So, I'm planning to combine everything into a
single table and will include APIs (one per relation) to query from this
table.
Thanks,

Request - Javascript player using Media Source Extensions
Hi,
I was wondering if there is a javascript player that uses Media Source Extensions to play Icecast streams on modern browsers.
Based on my limited research, the following players do not seem to support Icecast streams:
Aurora.js - Icecast does not support HEAD requests, which Aurora.js seems to require.
Shaka - Needs DASH manifests, cannot play off a simple URL. IANAL but MPEG LA seems to

[LLVMdev] MI bundle liveness attributes
Hi Sergei,
It seems to me that you can represent the semantics of a conditional
instruction by adding a use of the conditionally defined register to the
instruction.
The value of the output register of an instruction is either the value
of the instruction if it was conditionally executed or the value of the
output register before the instruction.
The Bundle would be:
BUNDLE %PC<imp-def>,
