Winbind auhentication
Helo all!
I'm trying to set up a dovecot server so that it authenticates local
user via /etc/passwd (I'm on a Freebsd 13.1) and via winbindd for
those that it cannot find localy. The samba suite is alive and well,
postfix gets happily mail from domain users and saves it with correct
name and permissions from the windows domain. If I try to authenticate
a domain user via wbinfo it works,

Force Winbind Domain
Hi all,
Is there any way to force Winbind to auhenticate against a certain
domain even if another was specified? I'm currently having problems
authenticating some users on squid as they seem to inform the wrong
domain. I can see messages like these on my cache log:
Login for user [PROXY1]\[USERNAME]@[WRKSTATION] failed due to [No such user]

openssh, pam and cryptocard's cryptoadmin / easyradius
...synchronous (quicklog) mode)
f-secure ssh with pam radius authentication
This worked fine until we updated to openssh 2.9p2. Then all
authentications where the response included alpha characters did not work
anymore. That means that users whose tokens were set to hexadecimal
display could not auhenticate, except when their hex response conatined
numbers _only_.
We reprogrammed all tokens to decimal display and contacted cryptocard.
You find their response forwarded.

Unable to cancel print-jobs with Samba+CUPS via WinXP
Hi All,
I am working on a product(running on Linux with Kernel 2.4) in which print-server is one of the functionalities.
For that I have integrated Samba and CUPS which will let me give print-commands from a Windows PC and the commands are communicated to the cups via Samba and finally the prints are done by the printer which is connected to the product.
I have both CUPS(1.2.1) and Samba(3.0.22)

Hi,
I''m stuck trying to work this one out - have been reviewing the
AuthLogic code base but having a hard time making sense of it (
http://github.com/binarylogic/authlogic ).
Question 1 - Can anyone confirm what config exactly is required to
make the one time password (persistence_token) work in AuthLogic? See
below for the bulk...
Question 2 - If not the full answer to the above,

Calendar and address book with Dovecot
Hi all
I recently install Postfix and Dovecot, and so far so good. My assumption
was that calendar and address book (similar to Gmail calendar or address
book) are part of Dovecot. However I do not see anything concerning them in
any of the docs I have read so far.
What other software (ideally open source, free) do I need in other to have
Calendar and address book so my users can manage their
