Hi, I tried to run an older windows program under wine (I think it is an older 16bit Borland C compiled binary - the icons looks have the typically Borland look) for connecting my telephone system via a serial connection (Auerswald ETS2106W.EXE). The program iteself starts but it tells me every time that it gets no connection with COM2. To verify that the serial connection is ok I a have connected a modem and tried to dial out with terraterm, an older terminal program. And this works! Any useful hints, why I can't connect...

Good day, anyone out there running an ISDN pbx behind an Asterisk server with an AVM active card? At this moment Asterisk is connected to the internal ISDN bus of the PBX, but I want to control the calls coming in from the outside, before sending them of to the PBX. Hi! I would like to connect a door phone to my asterisk server. I decided to do that with an analog (a/b) doorphone and a sipura box. Can anyone give me a recommendation for a door phone with good voice quality? I am from Austria/Europe and I looked at products from Rocom and from Auerswald. Hello Eric, call progress detection is the problem. Asterisk mistakenly recognizes the call to be answered and then still "hears" the ringing that should not be there if the line was really up. To solve the problem you would have to either implement a progress detection matching your country's indication tones or at least adjust the existing one for US or Costa Rica in dsp.c. By

hi all, i have a probably very stupid question/problem. for testing purpose i am trying to get asterisk running with two isdn cards. I'd only like to here the demo sound when i call the number - but nothing works. Hi, I use a Cologne Chip HFC-8S card with chan_capi. (TE mode only) So I've set up mISDN with CAPI and it's working just fine for 'normal' calls. But I do need more. Namely Hold, Retrieve and 3PTY which are not supported yet in the mISDN implementation of CAPI, whereas it is in the AVM Fritz Card CAPI driver for instance. So my question is: Is anyone aware of an alternative
