Audacious broken on CentOS 7.6
Hi, Looks like the Audacious audio player from EPEL (which has worked fine in previous versions) is broken under CentOS 7.6. It refuses to start, and when I try to start it from the command line, here's what I get. [microlinux at bernadette:~] $ rpm -qa | grep audacious audacious-3.9-1.el7.x86_64 audacious-libs-3.9-1.el7....

Audacious is crashing at startup, here's the output: audacious: relocation error: /usr/lib64/audacious/Input/ffaudio.so: symbol av_register_protocol2, version LIBAVFORMAT_52 not defined in file libavformat.so.52 with link time reference Does anybody reproduce? Would this reveal a problem (or my misuse)...

Dag Wieers, the well-known maintainer of a once very popular RPM repository, greeted me with a big smile: "Do you know CentOS?" When I introduced myself, he looked somewhat disappointed: "Oh, so you know

Sum of columns of a data frame equal to NA when all the elements are NA
No. The empty sum is zero. Adding it to another sum should not change it. Nothing audacious about that. This is consistent; other definitions just cause trouble. -pd > On 21 Mar 2018, at 18:05 , Boris Steipe <boris.steipe at utoronto.ca> wrote: > > Surely the result of summation of non-existent values is not defined, is it not? release/update question
hi, since i don't use centos very heavily i'm not too familiar with the centos/rhel release/update process (and i didn't do much research on this): is it normal behavior that through the use of "yum update" systems are forced to follow the point releases of a major release (5.0 -> 5.1 -> 5.2, etc)? is there a way and would it make sense to stay within one particular

CentOS 7 + MATE : no sound in Firefox
Hi, I recently switched my main workstation running CentOS 7 from KDE to MATE. Migration went well, but now I have a couple issues. First things first. I have no sound in the Firefox browser. Applications like Audacious, VLC or MPlayer have sound, but Firefox is mute. Any idea how I can fix that? Sum of columns of a data frame equal to NA when all the elements are NA
Surely the result of summation of non-existent values is not defined, is it not? And since the NA values have been _removed_, there's nothing left to sum over. In fact, pretending the the result in that case is zero would appear audacious, no?
