Merging two data objects question
...difference between them is that the times ( and
possibly the days ) and the data is different and what I want to do is
merge them so that only the data in Subset2 that is the same day and
times as Subset 1 remains in the merged dataset. Obviously the
column names of Subset2 would have to changed to AUDB, CADB, CHFB etc
when they were merged ? I have no idea how to do this and originally
these 2 lists come from a zoo object so , if it's easier to merge the
zoo objects and then do the creation of the lists, that's okay also but
I don't know how to do that either. So, if someone wants me...

fax possibilities
I am trying to set up a linux based faxing solution for a client, and
have found that the modem they have (ancient dataplex external unit)
just isn't up to the job. It talks to some remote fax machines but not
others.
A new external modem ranges from AUD$75 to AUD$400, which got me
thinking of other possibilities...
#1 FXO PCI card (more expensive for 1 port, probably cheaper for 2+)
#2 Sipura SPA3000
#3 Grandstream ATA488
I assume there will be no problem getting #1 working as a fax modem, but
what about #2 and #3? Has anyone done this before? S...

...re was

an incoming call (via X100P) on line 1 of my Sipura, the caller cannot
hear any voice from the internal extension. If the internal user puts
the external user on hold (via flash hook) and returns, both directions
of audio are fine.
Line 2 never has had this problem. For the meantime, I switched the
internal phones so that my wife's favorite phone is line 2 and I told
her to not pick up with line 1. Not a very permanent solution :)
NAT is not an issue as the Sipura and * are on the same network. Is

Question about AGNES by Rousseeuw et al. in the package "cluster": How many clusters?
...In SPSS, an Agglomeration Schedule table is produced and I used to
look at the biggest jump between the error coefficients for each
agglomerative steps in order to find where to stop clustering. But with
the Agnes output I don't know what I should be looking at.
Thanks so much for your help,

Anyone who uses our bugzilla frequently can attest to how annoyingly
slow it is.
So I am soliciting donations towards a replacement server with a target

The easiest way to donate is via Paypal to my email address
