problems using large file systems
I have a intel box running redhat 8.I am trying to use large file
support in ext3 but have hit the following snag.
I have a file that was created using lfs :
rw-r--r-- 1 amitm amitm 2147491330 Nov 13 10:16
/home/amitm/storage/cam_n2_q1/atvdatacam_n2_q1.dat
I write a simple program to do the basic file I/O but I hit a snag doing
the seek.

File locking for large file systems
What is the status of file locking support for large file system in ext3 ?

Passwords and NT
I have searched the archives and the internet and found nothing on this
topic but I know it's a known issue. Second I would like to say this has
nothing to do with NTDOM.
I am running a samba server 2.0.0 on a freebsd box. I am connecting to the
server using windows 9x and NT clients. I have hacked the windows
registries to enable clear text passwords across the lan. The problem is

Freebsd + NT
I am currently integrating Freebsd in a predominately NT network. I am
interested in using NT as a domain controller then using samba on the other
servers. I know that samba supports this and you can set security = server,
but what I am also interested in is using the password list for the passwd
file as well. So in theory I would like to download the NT user and pass
list much like NT's
