Asterisk community services powered by Atlassian tools
Some of you have already noticed we've chosen a number of Atlassian tools to provide services to the Asterisk and Asterisk SCF communities (Confluence, Crowd, Crucible, Fisheye and Bamboo). Of course, we're not alone in this since many other open source projects have chosen these tools as well, but I'd just like to state again how happy we are that Atlassia...

SUGGESTION: Use JIRA for Bug Reporting, Package Development and Project Management
...le R Programming books: "R Cookbook" and "R Graphics Cookbook". However, I did before know how to program in MariaDB SQL language, and had submitted for their bug platform previously some bugs (https://jira.mariadb.org/projects/MDEV/issues), which is based on JIRA: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira On the other hand, R has the mailing list, which is really simple, but: a) I found it really difficult at first to understand how it worked. b) I feel it does not fully respect the privacy of the package maintainers. c) And it can give place to e-mail Spam. In fact, Rstudio has...

Collaborative Wiki for fostering Open Innovation in R
...entation. ? ?R Help. ? ?etc. A key point would be that the wikis are installed, hosted and accesible through CRAN Servers, as a way to give some collaborative GUI to CRAN hosted documentation. Three collaborative wikis worth to consider would be: ? xwiki SAS (Open Source): http://www.xwiki.org ? ?Atlassian Confluence (Free for Open Source Projects): https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence ? ?MediaWiki: www.mediawiki.org I personally prefer xwiki for being 100% Open Source, and being editable with a Markdown Syntax; but we use Confluence at work and I am also very happy with it; and MediaWiki i...

Bug reporting system inquiry plus a bug report related to sort
Is the bug-reporting system working okay? Two days ago, I submitted the following bug report via email to r-bugs at r-project.org. I didn't see a confirmation, and it didn't see it at http://bugs.r-project.org/. Now, http://bugs.r-project.org/ seems to be down. Anyway, here's the bug report related to sort.list and sort(..., index.return = TRUE) with na.last = NA I think that both

Enable Contributions Through Pull-request For LLVM
...from me. We have one project where we decided to "keep the original commits" as you say above and another where we enforce linear history. The linear history project is *much* easier to follow. With merge commits you start running into issues like foxtrot commits (https://blog.developer.atlassian.com/stop-foxtrots-now) and the whole thing easily becomes a mess. There may be various rules/plugins/etc. that attempt to enforce "good" behavior but in the long run my experience has been that simpler rules make things simpler. -David

Writing a properly-formed custom type (configxml)
...ous mailing list entries, and the operation of the "iptables" type as found on the net, I have created a custom type, lovingly named ``configxml''''. It updates attributes on the first element matching a supplied XPath in a given XML file. The first use case is configuring Atlassian JIRA to use Postgres .. The custom type: - Detects the need to update attribute values - Updates attribute values - Pretty prints to the log, ex. when run with ``puppetd -dtv'''' - Solves today''s immediate need, but I don''t trust its ability to properly integrate...

AuthenticationFailedException: [IN-USE] Couldn't open INBOX: Permission denied
...been creating email accounts for use with JIRA, a bug reporting/tracking system, and one day recently, when I tried to add a new account to JIRA, I got this error returned from dovecot: "AuthenticationFailedException: [IN-USE] Couldn't open INBOX: Permission denied" I got help from Atlassian, the creators of JIRA, and they sent me links to some forum posts that said that changing the permissions of that user's /var/mail/ directory to 0600 would solve the problem. I changed that and no longer got the error. Being satisfied that this was a solution, I created a bunch of new email...

Going in the browser to: http://localhost:3000/routing/dialplan?Caller-Destination-Number=0 Does exactly what I want: <document type="freeswitch/xml"> <section
