Asterisk High-Capacity Stability
...ueries- I think I'd write my own AGI that would use a cache). With my hardware, could Asterisk run stable for this amount of traffic? What stability issues does Asterisk have at this scale? Sangoma Wanpipe Driver Compile for DAHDI Failure
I'm trying to get my Sangoma B600 working with Asterisk 1.6.1 and DAHDI 2.2. I've tried running ./Setup dahdi (and with --64-bit_4GB flag, running amd64) and the compile fails with this for many versions of the driver (incl. 3.3.16, 3.3.16.22, and 3.4.1): Building modules, stage 2. PHP AGI Problems
(Accidentally posted this to asterisk-dev, should be here) fgets is only returning one character... either when run as an AGI or run as a test on PHP on CLI... Example, enter 3333, then fgets returns '3'. Also, GET DATA seems to be returning early and the loop keeps prompting 'invalid'... Any suggestions on how to improve my AGI class so it actually works? Thanks. [code]

DAHDI Dummy for Linux VServers
I'm running dahdi on the host system, and have added the /dev/dahdi/ devices to the guest vserver as recommended in Beave's "Virtual Private Asterisk" whitepaper (http://www.telephreak.org/papers/vpa/). I tried copying libtonezone.so and libtonezone.h to the guest, but I couldn't anything to replace zaptel.h in DAHDI souce (it seems dahdi.h was deprecated?). I need to

zonedata.c
Hi, Could anyone tell me how to read the values in the "zonedata.c" file? I am looking at the "zt_tone_ringtone" field mainly. Thank you. Failed Call Debugging?
My PHP script is using AMI's Originate command to make two-way calls. The originate connects the first leg of the calls, plays a file to the first called party, and then uses Dial() from the dialplan to dial the other leg of the call. I'm noticing that only about 30% of the calls make it through successfully. In looking at Asterisk's CDR's, I have noticed a lot of "NO

Avaya 4620 SW SIP Config - not setting Proxy/Registrar
I'm using the latest SIP firmware from Avaya. The phone receives the 46xxsettings.txt OK, and then after entering extension and password it goes to the home screen saying 'Registering'. When I check options->ViewIPSettings->IPAddresses on the phone, the registrar and SIP Proxy fields are blank. I have both lines: SET SIPREGISTRAR "67.1XX.XX.XX" and SET

Fwd: SER as a Session Border Controller
I am curious if it is advisable to use implement Asterisk as a Session Border Controller for a VoIP reseller environment. Users will terminate calls SIP to my server, which will authenticate them via RADIUS, perform a LCR lookup, select an appropriate trunk (based on LCR), and terminate the call (update RADIUS accounting at end of call). All while acting as a B2BUA to prevent the users from seeing
