Disk error
For some time I have been seeing disk errors in the syslog every seven days. Until today it always happens Sunday morning at 8:13 AM, plus or minus a minute or two. Yesterday it happened at 1:13 AM. Here are the pertinent log entries for the latest occurrence:

bug: kernel 2.6.37-12 READ FPDMA QUEUED
I''ve been trying to install a 2.6.37-12 kernel from kernel-ppa on one of
my Ubuntu machines without success.
It keeps giving errors like this:

USB blues
I have a freshly built, updated EL6 system and am having problems with
USB stability - at boot everything works fine but within a few hours,
USB devices start disappearing randomly. At first I though the USB
devices were suspect, but removing the suspect devices and an accessory
PCIE USB card hasn't changed anything. As of now, a single USB device is
working. (which is lucky, it hosts the

Latest AMD, IOMMU Security Change causing CPU0 Panic and general Problems with AMD+IOMMU changes
Hi,
unfortunatly your latest change "AMD,IOMMU: Clean up old entries in
remapping tables when creating new one" (Changeset 26517 in
xen-unstable and 25975 in xen-4.2-testing) is causing a CPU0 Panic at
boot for me.
When i tried to boot latest versions of xen unstable or xen-testing,
my dom0 gives me the message:
