SIP client floods port 5060 and gets blocked
Hello,
Is there any reason why an IP-phone would pounder on port 5060 ? My
firewall blocks the public IP because it thinks the remote IP is port
scanning on port 5060.
I think the phone is just registering but for some reason it does this
repeatedly in a very short time.

problem with cdr_odbc
Hi,
Has anyone made a successfull instalation of cdr_odbc??
I've install unixODBC-2.2.8 (made my own RPM) and then built the module.
I'm trying to send the cdrs to a M$ SQL server. The sql connection
works because I can do any query via isql.
When I do the calls I get the following output on the asterisk console:

Avaya 9608G and DHCP and TFTP and HTTP oh my
...older Avaya
IP telephones, note that 9600 Series IP Telephones do not support TFTP; you
must use HTTP or HTTPS instead.
This shouldn't matter, as I think I have provided for both- I added a new directory to my apache config files on my asterisk server, which opens fine in a web browser: http://astserver.mcts.org/voipcfg/<http://ad-apbx.mcts.org/voipcfg/> And I do have those same files in the tftpboot directory, so if it was trying to use tftp, I'd see that.
/tftpboot is r-x to everyone, so are all the subdirectories, and the avaya files are all 744 (owned by root.)
It contains an index...

Free sitting
Hello,
How would you implement free sitting ?
The idea is to offer teachers the ability to share the same desk and
hardphone : for instance, Mr Foo is teaching mechanics on mondays while Mr
Bar is teaching english on wednesdays.
Each has his own extension but use the same hardphone.

to a user (as teachers schedules are
