Hi all, could someone tell me what this does mean "bad file descriptor" when trying to start asterisk. It goes till the CLI command and then die with this message. Below an strace output from asterisk -vvvvvvvvvc It's on debian Sarge kernel 2.6.7 with packages from debian VoIP team. The server was running fine till now with this version. Thanks

Hello, I'm trying to enable CONSOLE logging in Asterisk 1.4.14 on a 2.6.18 Debian Lenny server. It is enabled in logger.conf, however no log file is created in /var/log/asterisk/ Also I was wondering if I manage to get it working and use logrotate daemon as well, is logrotate going to restart the asterisk process each time in order to rotate the log file? Hi All, I have a really strange issue occuring where if I run "show dialplan" or "dialplan show" or "dialplan show parkedcalls", then asterisk dumps core. It only appears to happen with contexts that are created within res_features. I am able to display all my other dialplans, but, every time I try to just do a normal "dialplan show" asterisk core dumps
