...t says "the instruction at "0x78003b44" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". When I bring up the debugger and call up that address, it seems to bring me into the MSVCRT.strcpy routine. That's strange. Now I haven't used an assemby language debugger for many many years, so maybe I'm misinterpreting this. But I notice I have several versions of MSVCRT.dll on my machine, and I'm assuming that this routine is inside one of these dlls. So is there a particular MSVCRT.DLL that I should be using? By the way I tweaked them to maximize instruction pairing. Then I rewrited the oggpackB_read to reduce the number of tests, put some assemby in it, and then made specialized version of it, just like the existing oggpackB_read1, I now have a 8,16,24 and 32 bit version.
