regular exprs
Dear All, I would appreciate any help with the following: given the vector 'x' x <- c("Ass1", "Ass.s1", "Ass2", "Ass.s2") I would like to pick up the positions where the character string contains "Ass" but does not contain "Ass.s", so for 'x' that would be positions 1 and 3. I guess this could be programmed around grep()...

relay help
...odes the audio and feeds my Icecast server and Broadcastfy (Who I believe is using a version of Icecast) My question is can I set up Icecast as a relay to Broadcastify? I read the short documentation on relaying but I do not understand it completely. As Broadcastify has supplied me with a server, password, and mount point. I seems like I would simply use a single broadcast relay but I see no way to use the password. ? Bellingham Scanner Kicks Ass!! I have a subscription to MS TechNET. I wanted to use office 2010 but was told in another thread that was not going to happen. At least not yet. So I have defaulted to Office 2007 Enterprise. Word is up and working and seems to have no issues. Excel and Access are another problem however. When I try to run another app other then Word, I get an Microsoft Office error that says: "Microsoft

So I want to distribute the poor "International" traffic fairly in my local network without slowing down the "National" traffic and having no idea of which packet goes through national or International, a priori (maybe I can ask my ISP); and everything pass between the squid proxy. Any ideas? (Besides education). Is just impossible? If I get the "magic routers" tables, can I do something useful ? Aldrin. "So many links, so little time!"

questions about nls
Dear R users, I am new in R and I want to use the nls package to analyze some experimental data. The data is in the attached file "data". It is the response "Sav" measured at different "C0". Basically, the "C0" is a function of C1, K2, and r, and the "Sav" is a function of C0, C1, K2, and r. The math equations are shown in the attached
