Retrieving data from aspx pages
Hi. I'm trying to write an application to retrieve financial data
(specially bonds data) from FINRA. The web page is served dynamically
from an asp.net application:
http://cxa.gtm.idmanagedsolutions.com/finra/BondCenter/AdvancedScreener.aspx
I'd like to know if it's possible to fill dynamically the web page
form from R and, after filling it (with the issuer name), retrieve the
web page, parse the data, and covert it to appropiate R objects.
For example, suppose I want to search data for AT&T bonds. I'd like to

Hi @ll,
compiler-rt implements (for example) the MSVC (really Windows)
specific routines compiler-rt/lib/builtins/i386/chkstk.S and
compiler-rt/lib/builtins/x86_64/chkstk.S as __chkstk_ms()

form submit debugging

I''ve got a form that''s giving me trouble (server reports invalid session
ID). Unfortunately, the form is submitted using SSL so I can''t use a

Weird error downloading a gzip''ed file

snprintf and MS Visual Studio
Hi all,
There are a bunch of sprintf calls in the FLAC code base and I'd like
to replace them with calls to snprintf but I know that can cause
problems with at least some versions of Visual Studio.
Whats the current state of play in this regard?

Get Logical processor count correctly whether NUMA is enabled or disabled
...turn 44. This is particularly limiting since we cannot get to use all processors by enabling/disabling NUMA in this case.
We think this is because R's ncpus.c file uses "PSYSTEM_LOGICAL_PROCESSOR_INFORMATION" (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms683194(v=vs.85).aspx) instead of "PSYSTEM_LOGICAL_PROCESSOR_INFORMATION_EX" (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dd405488(v=vs.85).aspx).
