...gged it myself.Actually the python API i.e nova-compute of openstack cloud computing softwatre was looking for the cpu model through libvirt.I made some changes in the application code and now I'm able to procees and run the API successfully. Unsupported network type ethernet using LXC

Hi Rich But there is no src/kernel.ml file on my ubuntu powerpc to which the above patch is reffering. I have installed supermin as supermin_5.1.8-2_powerpc.deb debian package. Hi Rich I'm able to solve the problem regarding PAPR in libguestfs on my powerpc ubuntu.By default the libguestfs was configuring pseries machine and afterwards I changed it to my original machine i.e ppce500 .The changes are performed in ./src/guestfs-internal.h file. HI Laine, Looks like we are able to run qemu-bridge-helper and it internally tries to create tap interface. While creating this tap interface we are getting Operation not permitted error: * failed to create tun device: Operation not permitted* How we can create tun interface without root user is the issue.
