windows users can login but OS X users cannot

I have tested my configs on samba 3.0.33 on CENTOS and it works fine there
for both OS X and windows
the share is setup on
/shares/asgs
with these permissions:

drwxrws--- 2 grant ASGSFileUsers 18 2010-02-20 00:21 asgs
