Hi, Has anyone out there written a function to take a data.frame as input and generate XML that conforms to the DTD for ggobi ("ggobi.dtd")? In other words, like a simple version of the writeSDML function in the StatDataML package, but using ggobi.dtd instead of StatDataML.dtd. It looks easy to write such a function to handle data.frames with only numeric data, but a bit of work with

Hi all, I have aproblem with Samba copying (unfortunatly I'm new to samba so my skills are fairly limited). I have a sun box (solaris 8) with samba 2.2.2. Copying from sun to a nt server is fast (as good as you would expect) however, copying from the nt server to the sun box is slow (files copy normally, then slow to a complete halt then copy very slowly). okay.. i'm on my winbox, looking at stuff. connecting to my samba server works fine.. browsing through files and access is fine, but when i try to print, it doesn't work at all. it recognizes the printer, the printer type and such, but it just doesn't print. I cannot seem to execute any logon %U.bat scripts. It see's them because I get a black box screen and a message 'running logon scripts'. If the user.bat file does not exist it simply skips this step. I woke up to a frozen box this morning - it froze up a few more times before I got a handle on it. Basically, the box runs idle but refuses to do disk IO, or does it -very- slowly. Top shows processes stuck in 'ffsvget', 'inode', and 'vlruwk' state. I can get the box responsive again by setting sysctl kern.maxvnods=100000. It starts up with kern.maxnodes=36079. I
