crimson editor
...:\Archivos de programa\R\rw1060\bin\Rterm.exe Argument: --vanilla < $(FileName) Initial dir: $(FileDir) And that is it... really simple. To do this you have to be able to use your R in batch mode. I have started creating a syntax colour code for this program (it is realy simple to do it...just asci file)... and I was wondering, does anyone know where can I get a complete list of the R functions? What about separated by packages? Is there a similar file (of syntax highlighting) from emacs that I can copy/see? BEcause I think it would be nice to have the same colour scheme... If anyone wants m...

HW-Speex: Fileformat and encoding process
Hi I have just written a small c programm which reads in speex files and outputs them as asci text numbers. This is necessary as for writing a hw testbench for decoding tests, since thy only read ascii files :-(.I can't read the bitrate properly from the header file. It's allways -1. Please see example below and attached c programm. I wan't to check for a fixed bitrate (8000)...

more of a statistics/display question
...g p-value or vice versa. does any know of a good way to visualize this and an R-tool that would help me. Definitely, if someone tells me the tool, I would read about but this sounds like I need a 2 dimensional histogram sort of ? it's not a problem for me to save these numbers in a matrix or asci file or whatever but any idea or tools or book on how to group them into different groupings would be helpful. thanks mark

problem clearing the "Read Only" attribute from Windows XP
I am trying to configure a share using Samba version 2.2.7a, and have not been able to clear the "Read Only" attribute of created folders from within XP. In smb.conf, I have: read only = no, and am mapping the archive, system and hidden attributes to the Linux x bits. I have set the permissions for all users to allow changing attributes and permissions, yet the bit always returns

Raw CELT Bytes from the Command Line Interface
Hello everyone, I would like to access the raw CELT encoded bytes by using the command line interface but I am having some difficulties. I do not know how to unpack the Ogg Vorbis wrapper and the STDOUT option just filled my command line with ASCI characters. Anyone have luck dumping the bytes to a text file? Also inputting them back to the celtdec function would be helpful information. Thanks, Bob -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... controls within a wxTreeCtrl
...nage a tree layout of not only text, but several buttons which would line up adjacent to the text in the tree items. I''ve googled around a bit on this and it doesn''t seem straightforward, if it is possible at all. Can anyone provide any pointers for attempting this? In a simple ASCI schematic, it would be like this: + RootItem A B C + TreeItem1 A B C + TreeItem2 A B C where RootItem and TreeItem(s) are text labels, and A, B, and C, are simple buttons with icons on them. I am starting to think that I will have to synthesize the entire thing using sizers. Would it even...

Scripting with smbpasswd
Hi All, I'm writing a website on which users can change their Samba-password. I therefore use the smbpasswd-utility which I execute through the PHP function system (or exec, it doesn't really matter). I have to use the -s switch for smbpasswd to enable it to read input from STDIN, which I redirect to read the information from a file. I execute: /usr/local/samba/bin/smbpasswd -r
