And this brings back CommandLine Error: Arugment blah defined more than once! And without this, opt -load .../LLVMHello.dylib -hello does not work on Darwin because dyld is not able to find SlowerOperationInformer ;) thoughts ? - Devang On Apr 13, 2007, at 11:28 AM, Devang Patel wrote: > > > Changes in directory llvm/lib/Transforms/Hello: > > Makefile updated: 1.7 ->

ShortRead with BWA
Dear folks, Please welcome a newbie both to R and the mailing list :). I am currently working on a sequencing project, and heard about R as well as some of its packages for next gen sequencing, and decided to give it a try. Starting with ShortRead, I found a document (http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/2.5/bioc/vignettes/ShortRead/inst/doc/ShortRead_and_HilbertVis.pdf) which does mention

validate() in Design library
Hi, another question about validate() in Design library. The arugment "B" of this function is number of repetition for method="bootstrap", which is easy to understand; but for method="crossvalidation", B is the number of groups of omitted observations. This is confusing, I don't understand what it means. Let's say 5-fold cross validation, all samples are

Updating MetaData at the Relay
Now that 2.2.0 is out, we can update metadata on-the-fly. At pulverradio.com we are working on an injector that takes the song info from our broadcast automation software and dumps it in (thanks guys for the help). I realize that we can inject the song info like so: http://server.ip:port/admin/metadata?mount=/ mountpoint&mode=updinfo&song=ACDC+Back+In+Black .... but are there

Capistrano on Windows - Send Binary File
So, I''m using TechnoWeenie''s recipe ( http://rails.techno-weenie.net/tip/2006/4/3/integrating_file_column_and_capistrano ) for using Capistrano to deploy to a remote machine when the SVN repository isn''t accessible over the Internet. I keep running into a problem, though, with put(File.read("code_update.tar.gz"), "code_update.tar.gz") When Cap

xfer_sum_len type bug
Hi folks, I have several build environments in which I must build rsync, and in some, but not all of them, the build fails when built with -Wall -Werror due to this warning: In file included from /usr/include/string.h:495, from /home/demartin/BuildClients/cobrasync-8.80-alsi11-lib32/cobrasync/rsync-3.2.7/rsync.h:339, from

Nnet: Returning the response
Hello list. Maybe this is a simple question but I can't find the answer anywhere. With lm I use the parameter y=TRUE to have the response returned in $y. Of course, namely because of NA's in the data frame, this might not include all the values in the original column. For example: > data(airquality) > length(airquality$Day) [1] 153 > my.lm <- lm(Day~.,data=airquality,y=TRUE)

Ok, I'm doing a heads up here. I just applied: - markus at cvs.openbsd.org 2002/06/11 04:14:26 [ssh.c sshconnect.c sshconnect.h] no longer use uidswap.[ch] from the ssh client run less code with euid==0 if ssh is installed setuid root just switch the euid, don't switch the complete set of groups (this is only needed by sshd). ok provos@ A few comments about

[LLVMdev] Cross compiling to ARM using LLC {Help}
Hello, I'm trying to cross compile the MiBench benchmarks using LLC and ARM cross compiler the binaries generated will be used on pandaboard or the qemu-arm emulator. I have faced multiple issues during the compilation process, here are the commands used. # generate LLVM-IR for dijkstra_large.c $gcc -S -flto -o dijkstra_large.bc -fplugin=${DRAGONEGG} dijkstra_large.c # generate TARGET

This is actually, why the admin/metadata call only takes "song", and it was created back when we only supported updates for mp3 streams. Now, one could aruge that you should also be able to update the genre and maybe the url, but since these fields are used mainly for YP listing, they tend not to be fields that people want to update. Although, I'm sure someone could find a good reason, I couldn't at the time, and therefore didn't make t...

Advice on good programming practice, lexical scope
In "An Introduction to R" (See R help menu), there is an example of a function 'open.account' that makes use of the lexical scope in R. I have a set of functions that can be used to output R tables and graphics into a single report document. (I am aware that several tools can do this already). While reorganizing my code, I realize that I can collect my functions in a list, in

some problems reported in 00check.log
Hi, 1- How is it possible to use the name of a generic function as the name of a function which is not related to the generic function? For example, if I define predict.my.function, R will relate it to predict function and I'll get the following warning when I run R CMD check * checking S3 generic/method consistency ... WARNING predict: ? function(object, ...) predict.my.function

Converting expression to a function
Previously, I've posted queries about this, and thanks to postings and messages in response have recently had some success, to the extent that there is now a package called nlmrt on the R-forge project https://r-forge.r-project.org/R/?group_id=395 for solving nonlinear least squares problems that include small or zero residual problems via a Marquardt method using a call that mirrors the nls()

Applying function to a TABLE and also "apply, tapply, sapply etc"
Dear R-help forum members, Suppose I have a data-frame having two variables and single data for each of them, as described below. variable_1           variable_2         10                          20 I have written a function, say, 'fun' which uses input 10 and 20 and gives me desired result. fun = function(X, Y)          {          X + Y              #( I am just giving an example of
