Hi,
I would like to create 6 partitions on one disk before installing. How do I add partitions separate from the /home /boot /root and /swap files?
Cheers,

what is only allowing this??
For virtualization, I would create a LVM VG (Volume Group), and for each
virtual disk, create a LV (Logical Volume).
Normally, I don't put virtual disks on

xfs fsck error metadata corruption
Hi,
Everytime I restart Centos 7 I receive a error saying?
metadata is corrupt
and then I need to go through the process of mount and unmount the disk uuid then run
xfs_repair {some uuid}
or
xfs_repair -L {some uuid} which ultimately corrupts even more.
I?m running on a RAID 1 two identical drives
this has happened more then once and had to reinstall. Any way I can prevent this when I

Using LVM to implement RAID
Hi,
in Cent OS 7
after a power on, I experienced multiple errors
in the device-mapper mirror: device lookup error
and EXT4-fs error_lookup 1437 deleted
inode reference
I assume these are the VMs
Is this always going to happen when I reboot the
system?
Will I experience data loss or corruption from this?

reboot causes mapping failures after update to Centos 7
Hi,
I perform the initial update of about 200 packages
then when I reboot I get three options instead of
two. One is the Core 7 and the other is x86
what do those mean? Also after this the journal
returns mapping errors and ext4 errors

I set Delay=0 on bridge
Could STP be a issue?

2 or more bridges not working
Hi,
Adding one bridge to cent7 works fine. But when adding a
second bridge it either takes the IP from the First bridge and
stops the first bridge from working or
Stops the first bridge from working and does not work for either
bridge
I?m adding
BRIDGE=br3
to ifcfg-eth0
and then
creat ifcfg-br3
and adding the necessary requirments TYPE, BOOTPROTO,
DELAY
Is there a reason why Cent7 won?t
