Unstable VMware 1.0.5 host after 4.7 upgrade
...t a coincidence is the fact that the 3 hosts that are
affected do NOT have VT capable processors. Our quad-core Xeon boxes
with VT have not been a problem.
I'm in the process of going back to an HZ=100 kernel. Of course, my
first guest system reboot with the new kernel triggered a host reboot.
Arrrggghhh.
Does anyone have similar experiences? Does anyone have a *stable*
VMware Server 1.0.x host on 2.6.9-78.0.1 with non-VT processors? Is
anyone else using divider=10 with VMware 1.0.x?
