arrgghhh dialparties.agi
Hi I've been looking for 10 minutes and cant find dialparties.agi
Can anyone tell me what folder this is located in as I'm going crazy.
(if it makes a difference I use asterisk@home and am replacing the AMP
dialparties.agi file)
Super big TIA,
Dean

Centosplus kernel does not have framebuffer support?
...uffer
support enabled by default. So I waited for CentOS 5.1. However, on
one of my test systems I ran into the bad NFS performance issue (see
CentOS bug 2635), so I plan to use the centosplus kernel. However,
it appears that this kernel does not have the framebuffer support
enabled -- arrgghhh!
So, is this just an oversight or is there a reason for not enabling
the framebuffer support on the centosplus kernel?
Alfred (who really wants to upgrade to CentOS 5 but cannot live with
the NFS performance issue and does not want to build his own kernel
RPMs)

LVM repairing or back to regular ext3?
...I've tried
with -b 8193, 16384, and 32768 and no good.
I've found some info about reiserfsck on google, but this utility doesn't
seem to be included in Centos4.3. I did find it on my old FC1 box.
I am thinking now I really should have went with just regular 83 Linux
ext3 partitions. Arrgghhh.
And if I want to switch to 83 Linux instead of 8e LVM, whats the best way,
or at least a feasible way? I can pop another drive in if I need to move
data around, but I don't see how, as I can't mount the LVM partition
(hda2).

Problems with smbmount
I have a problem. When I mount my CD (witch is on WIN97 machine) using
smbmount I do not see all files in all dirs. If dir have more then, let say,
100 files (it is not the same every time), I do not see all files.
This is a problem because on my Linux box I do not have CD-ROM, so if I have
to install some packages I first have to copy rpm files on disk, and then
install them witch is annoying.

samba4.2.0 crashes on connection attempt with an internal samba error...
....2-2 is to
be installed
Recommends: libtasn1-doc (= 4.2-2~bpo70+1) but it is
not going to be installed
nettle-dev : Depends: libnettle4 (= 2.7.1-1~bpo70+1) but 2.7.1-5 is to
be installed
Depends: libhogweed2 (= 2.7.1-1~bpo70+1) but 2.7.1-5 is
to be installed
ARRGGHHH
Debian really need to get their finger out, come on, for example
'libgnutls28-dev' it depends on version 3.3.8-6~bpo70+1 but 3.3.8-6 is
to be installed, so for the addition of '~bpo70+1' it gets rejected.
I give up, I am going back wheezy and backports (4.2 builds on that)

rsync parameters errors
In my new bash script, I'm doing what I think is a very simple rsync
command the way I'm used to doing it. I just do a lot of setup and
checking before I get to it.
When I run it, it gets very unhappy with me. It's probably something
very simple.
I need to build the rsync command in a string so that some things can go
away - like if my variables DRY_RUN and DELETE are undefined,

samba4.2.0 crashes on connection attempt with an internal samba error...
Dear Samba fellows,
I try to install samba on my notebook in order to get it into
my samba based domain. It was a bit picky to get everything
assembled on the notebook - but that last issue is hard. :-(
I installed it from the sources on Debian Jessie - exactly
in the same manner I used for my servers. I got sssd and
kerberos working...
