HTB stalling
Hi
Couple months ago I started to have a strange problem with HTB.
My setup is Fedora Core 2 + Pentium 2 233 + 128 MB of ram and its serving as
a router.
For some time since going to kernel 2.6 my HTB QoS Stalls for couple
seconds, every couple minutes. If the connection load is bigger the stalling
is more frequent and takes longer.
I isolated the problem to be with HTB (CBQ works fine).

Actually ... which Icecast do you mean, 1.x or 2? Icecast 1.x isn't
supported any more, but you might be able to Google for a 3rd party IPv6
patch. If you mean Icecast2, there is support but no "release" yet, you
would have to install a snapshot or get the source directly from CVS.
It's no big deal,

[Bug 812] New: addrtype with limit-iface-in in ip6tables/nat/PREROUTING messes up the route cache
...uct: netfilter/iptables
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86_64
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P5
Component: ip6_tables (kernel)
AssignedTo: netfilter-buglog at lists.netfilter.org
ReportedBy: arpad at andrews.hu

First of all, sorry about my bad English.
The addrtype match is working perfectly under IPv6 in the filter table. When I
tried to use in the nat/PREROUTING it messes up the routing cache even if the
rule didn't matched at all. I think it's better to...

Sendmail vulnerability
You've probably already seen the latest sendmail vulnerability.
http://lists.netsys.com/pipermail/full-disclosure/2003-September/010287.html
I believe you can apply the following patch to any of the security
branches:
http://cvsweb.freebsd.org/src/contrib/sendmail/src/parseaddr.c.diff?r1=1.1.1.17&r2=1.1.1.18
Download the patch and:
# cd /usr/src
# patch -p1 < /path/to/patch

You can use ssh to make a VPN using Linux , pppd , and pty-redir. The
HOWTO was written by Arpad Magosanyi and is avaliable
http://www.cdrom.com/pub/linux/slackware/docs/mini/VPN
The VPN more or less sets up ppp between two Linux machines, and
encrypts all traffic using secure shell encryption.

Samba4 DNS question
Hi,
This is my first Samba4 installation, so I'm a rookie in this topic. Sorry if I ask trivial questions.
I have a virtual server with 2 network interfaces. The first one is in the server network, the second one is in the storage network (the samba shares are on an NFS volume). If I start the sernet-samba-ad service with both interfaces are up I got both IPs in the A record.

ssh-proxy, a new approach to firewall software
Hi!
After 3 days of furious programming, here is the half-finished code of
the ssh gateway: http://www.linux.hu/~mag/openssh.prepared.tar.gz
[No, it isn't even quarter finished, but I am forking to background again,
and have no time/whatever to end it in the foreseeable future (except
if one says "gee, it _is_ nice, here is the cash for finishing it")].
There are logically two
