Removing default loess line from scatterplot ({car})
scatterplot() is autogenerating a regression and loess line. I want to remove
the loess line, but can only find samples for how to add it. I definitely do
not have code that adds it (see below), so I am puzzling...
scatterplot(Aroused ~ anxious | group,
data=data,
xlab="Aroused",
ylab="Anxious",
main="Arousal and anxiety ratings",
xlim=c(0.5, 9.5), ylim=c(0.5, 9.5),
legend.plot=F,
)
legend(6,2,c("Controls", "Patients"),group)

Now you have my curiosity aroused. Was this with CentOS3 or 4, ie LVM
or LVM2? What problems?
We use LVM on all our RH9 setups at work. No problems at all.
OTOH, LVM2 is a work in progress that RH chose to pass along. I keep
hearing rumors that the support may be more complete in Update 1
whenever that comes along.

Cook's Distance in GLM (PR#9316)
...ent <- gl(3,3)
d.AD <- data.frame(treatment, outcome, counts)
glm.D93 <- glm(counts ~ outcome + treatment, family=poisson())
opar <- par(mfrow=c(2,1))
plot(glm.D93, which=c(4,5))
par(opar)
cooks.distance(glm.D93)
The difference is reasonably moderate in this case. My suspicions
were aroused by a case in which the plot showed five or size points
greater than 1, none of which could be identified in the output of the
function.

Unable to use # as feature key prefix
Hi folks,
I was using the following featuremap:
blindxfer => *1
disconnect => *9
atxfer => *2
parkcall => *7
automixmon => *0
and everything worked.
Then the need arouse to use some features like automixmon during
a conference, but MeetMet has the * key bound to the
(admin) menu. Thus, in order to enable features like automon and
transfers even during a conference, I tried to swap * fro # in the
featuremap:

Windows Front end-crash error
Dear List:
First, many thanks to those who offered assistance while I constructed
code for the simulation. I think I now have code that resolves most of
the issues I encountered with memory.
While the code works perfectly for smallish datasets with small sample
sizes, it arouses a windows-based error with samples of 5,000 and 250
datasets. The error is a dialogue box with the following:
"R for Windows terminal front-end has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in the middle of
something, the information you were...

Changing dnsmasq DNS settings for virtual machines

Which brings me to the next question:
How to set the addn-hosts= for the libvirtd-dnsmasq in the xml file?

Does Chi Square test for R differ from S-Plus?
I tried to run a GLM model using S-Plus and R. The same model and data were
applied to the both packages. I got different results of P(>|Chi|) for Anova,
between S-PLus and R. Other estimates values are the same.
P(>|Chi|) for S-Plus:

UEFI Memdisk
Hello!
I'm trying to chain a ISO file in UEFI mode,
Do you have any release for Memdisk for UEFI?
If you don't, what do you recommend me?
Thanks a lot!

libsmbclient
...en't really tested SSL, but
here's the kicker: I can't find libsmbclient anywhere - although I'm not
really sure what I'm looking for there - what's the file called? Where
are the headers stored?
Info, anyone?
Best
Diego
PS / It's not a do-or-die issue, but it did arouse my curiosity that the
file is nowhere to be found in the RPM's...maybe it was lost during
package creation due to a bad RPM spec?

You do that with the <host> subelement of the <dns> element. An example
is at the same link as above.

they are). I want to know whether familiarity affects emotion.
I'm not interested in individual differences among subjects,
which I assume are due to differences in use of the scales.
I have selected the 20 cases haphazardly. I assume that each

Vcpu allocation for a newly created domU
Hi all,
I am having confusion regarding the way a newly created domain is
allocated vcpu.
Initially during dom0 creation alloc_vcpu is called to create vcpu
structs for all the available cpu''s and assigned to dom0. But its not
the case for domU creation.
1. So how will dom0 relinquish/share vcpu to/with a newly created domU.
Does this happen as part of the shared_info page mapping??
