Question about nv40_draw_array
Hi, My name is Krzysztof and currently I'm working on porting nouveau (gallium3d driver + libdrm + drm) to AROS Research OS (http://www.aros.org). I completed a quite successful port of "old" drm (one from libdrm git - now removed) and currently I'm working on drm port from the nouveau kernel tree git. Right now I'm faced with rather peculiar memory allocation/access problem with call...

Samba 3.0 Problem
I have Samba setup as a Domain Controller for the domain AROS-NG. I have a Network Appliance that I was able to get to talk to the Samba PDC and it appears to be happy cause I am able to pull up user accounts from the Samba PDC. I am also able to log into XP using the Samba PDC. The only wierd thing that happens is when I try to access the share from the...

...ll set up ready to be use again. On suse (sles9) I have users authenticating by LDAP. I've tried the 1.0 alpah and also found an earlier version on the suse 10 DVD. Basically I'm looking to use the IMAP server to centrally store emails on our home/...

[LLVMdev] Policy on new OS support in Target Triples
...lo, I see that in the 2.8 source the target triples are enums. This means that if I am to avoid conflicts in the future that I will have to push changes back to the LLVM SVN. Would it be fair to say that patches are welcome in that regard? I'm in the process of adding support for i386-PC-AROS. Thanks for your consideration, --Sam Crow

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Adding new target for hobby OS
This concerns me as well. I've accepted a programming bounty to port LLVM to AROS x86. Once that's done I suspect many people will want it ported to the other processors AROS supports. ----- Original Message ---- > From: Bjarke Walling <bjarke.walling at gmail.com> > To: cfe-dev at cs.uiuc.edu > Sent: Sat, April 9, 2011 2:06:30 PM > Subject: [cfe-dev]...

Sweaving single master file to get multiple individualised reports
...Sweave call is just Sweave(SnwFile) which would create SnwFile.tex. What I'm hoping for ?-------------------- Any one or more of: - A blasting for lack of understanding that tells me it's all easy, really (plus a "how to" or a "where to find and actually see") - A work-around - An idiot's guide to how to do it using a shell script or equivalent (which I suspect to be the way to go) - Help with automatically LaTeXing (actually pdfLaTeXing) all the *.tex files generated as a batch. One advantage of the within-a-loop way of working is that when the report for one...

RE: the "cisco vs. Linux" thread
FYI this topic has been covered on the Zebra and Quagga lists - hardware processors, memory, NICs, etc - software OS (Linux, *BSD), drivers, etc I''ve been running a couple of Linux routers for about 2 years now, I''m using them as core routers so I bought a couple of rackmount "server" boxes with redundant PSUs and h/w RAID (1) for hotswap disks. Refactoring common code to module
Hello Ruby users, I am stuck with the following problem: I have an access control list system, with multiple group, section and base classes. There are several section types (AroSection, AxoSection, AclSection etc.), several group types (AxoGroup, AroGroup) and several base Types (Acl, Axo, Aro, Aco). These share some common funcionality that only differs by name of the associations. module GACL class AclSection < ActiveRecord::Base set_table_name "gacl_...

Samab 3.0.6 problems
...a few keepalives. The samba logs didn't contain much info for my level of knowledge (debug level @ 3). If anyone is interested in identifying a problem, can you propose the debug level required and if a trace is required. I can install 3.0.6 again for a while to test. -- Patrick Ernst ARO Australia Pty Ltd Graphic Design and Printing patrick@aroaustralia.com www.aroaustralia.com

inefficient for loop, is there a better way?
The code below is a small reproducible example of a much larger problem. While the script below works, it is really slow on the true dataset with many more rows and columns. I'm hoping to get the same result to examp, but with significant time savings. The example below is setting up a data.frame for an ensuing regression analysis. The purpose of the script below is to appends columns to

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Proposal to make LLVM-IR endian agnostic
One of the projects I am working on with others is to make LLVM-IR endian agnostic. So, I am sending out this proposal for feedback to the LLVM community. I've attached pretty version of the proposal in PDF format and pasted a 80-column safe text version below. I'm looking forward to comments and feedback. Thanks, Micah Villmow Text of Proposal:

Dunno what the reason is but i worked around it ;). Try autofs - the kernel automounter with smbfs. To use it you have to configure/compile your samba with something like --with-automount or so. Refer "./configure --help" for that. Btw. an upgrade to 2.2.0 went very well for me, so I would recommend one. Lots of bugfixes for w2...
