Securring DHCP, with DDNS
...art the isc-dhcp
service in the second to rescue the system.
But It's not working as I expected...
If I switch off Isc-dhcp service in the first DC and switch on in the
other one I get these errors :

DDNS and DHCP problems
...works with laptops ( which have not been connected to the lan last
week ), but without reverse ptr too...
I can see some error in the syslog file :

I think I could made a mistake, this is what i did : ( I using Louis
script from "old set of script" directory :
https://secure.bazuin.nl/scripts/ )
- On server S4 : resolv.conf set to S4 first and S4bis in second
- On server S4 : in dhcp-dyndns-debian.sh, NSRVS=*S4*.ariane.intra
- On server S4 : bash install.sh
- On server S4 : osync set to sync dhcpd.conf between the 2 servers
- On server S4bis : resolv.conf set to S4bis first and S4 in second
- On server S4bis : in dhcp-dyndns-debian.sh, NSRVS=*S4bis*.ariane.intra
- On server S4bis : bash install.sh
Am I wrong?...

ACL wrong category user for group and group for user

command getfacl :
default:_*group*_:samuel.ruet:r-x
And if I set something for the group sa-si I get this :
default:_*use*_r:sa-si:r-x
Under windows all seems good...
I recently change idmap config... ( add rid backend )
Here is my smb.conf :
[global]
workgroup = ARIANE
security = ADS
realm = ARIANE.INTRA
netbios name = Samba4
domain master = no
host msdfs = no
dedicated keytab file = /etc/krb5.keytab
kerberos method = secrets and keytab
client signing = if_required

in named.conf.options, dnssec-validation is already set to auto.
Ok I put syslog = 10 in smb.conf and tell if I get more details.
I prefer not trying to upgrade, the servers are in production.

samba 4 joining a Windows 2003 srv / Sync and DNS problems
...t functional level to 2003
- move _msdcs in the DNS management tool as described here
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817470/en-us)
- adjust all zones with "Nonsecure and secure" Dynamic updates
- adjust all zones with Replication "To all DNS servers in the active
directory forest ariane.intra"
- join a new sernet samba4 server.
A lot of things works, I can use rsat tools for managing the dns and the
AD users of Samba4.
But some things disturbing me...
Replication works only in one way
during Samba4 join I had see that :

samba-tool dns zoneoptions --mark-old-records-static
In short, I have my dns records in :
CN=MicrosoftDNS,DC=ForestDnsZones,DC=ariane,DC=intra
and I have root dns in :
CN=MicrosoftDNS,DC=DomainDnsZones,DC=ariane,DC=intra
but I don't have a "MicrosoftDNS" entry in DC=ariane,DC=intra
