Vector Assignments
...then col[i] = "blue"
else if x[i] < 750 then col[i] = "green"
else col[i] = "black" for all i
I am convinced that there is probably a very efficient way to do this in
R but I am not able to figure it out. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

This should be an easy task in R but I think I am missing something?

searching a vector
Hi,
I have a integer vector x that contains a unique set of numbers:
x <- c(1,2,4,6,8,10,12)
Is there a simple test I can use to determine if an integer such as 6 is
contained in x ?
Thanks in advance for any help,

extlinux doesn't boot 3.0 kernel on a brand new HP 8200sff workstation
Hi,
I compiled a 3.0 kernel for my system, used the same config of my already working 2.6.39.1 kernel on the same system.
But whenever extlinux tries to load my 3.0 kernel it crashes instantly and reboots, not even 1 kernel msg is displayed.
So it seems like the kernel isn't loaded at all and crashes.
