oVirt is nice but pretty heavyweight ... depending on your needs I've heard
good things about Archipel
http://archipelproject.org/
We used WebVirtMgr for a really lightweight thing at previous place ...
looks like that's changed to WebVirtCloud now.

Tool to Manage KVM with Web Browser
Hi All,
Is there someone out there using web browser to manage multiple KVM
host servers right now in checking the MIST.IO Cloud platform and there are
lot more from the http://linux-kvm.org/page/Management_Tools but Im not
sure what is the best for me. The first requirement is of-course it should
be open-source with zero cost and stable for daily operation. Anyone can
help me decide or advice

getting name or uuid of vm within guest OS
..."uuid-of-jvm.hypervisor.com" using this switch
(qemu):
-net user,hostname=uuid-of-jvm.hypervisor.com
it works but it's not best solution as it only works with qemu
and we need a solution that works with other virtualization
platforms that libvirt supports.

** yes, we know about vnc / ssh / ... but by implementing such
thing we can add cool stuff in archipel like status of services
that are running on guest os.
