[Bug 566] ssh-keygen -l does not print key comment for rsa/dsa keys
...Product: Portable OpenSSH Version: -current Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: trivial Priority: P2 Component: ssh-keygen AssignedTo: openssh-unix-dev at mindrot.org ReportedBy: binder at arago.de ssh-keygen's option -l prints the key's comment for rsa1 keys, but only the filename for rsa/dsa keys. I'll attach a patch that fixes this, but as it modifies key_try_load_public() in authfile.c, it might have impact on other functionality. So far, I haven't noticed any problem...

It's especially annoying since we use here a lot of scripts which check for the return values of scp to indicate success or failure. In fact it does the good thing on nonexistent files/dirs/etc, but fails in case of auth

openssh-3.4p1.tar.gz on ftp.openbsd.org changing rather than frozen
I have seen that file ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/OpenSSH/portable/openssh-3.4p1.tar.gz is continuosly changing. This seems strange to me as I expected it should be a 'frozen' file; The signature and diff file are still dated Jun 26. I am wondering whether this is intentional. Best regards, Wojtek

Patches for compiling / using portable OpenSSH on FreeMiNT?
Hi! I'm the current maintainer of the OpenSSH RPM for SpareMiNT (a collection of RPMs for the FreeMiNT operating system for Atari TOS based machines, see http://www.freemint.de/) and wondered if there's any interest in including the patches necessary to compile and run portable OpenSSH 3.2.3p1 under this operating system. If so, I'll "post" them here, including comments on

[PATCH] Allow "ProxyCommand none" in ssh_config
Hi! As discussed in the thread "Question regarding patch for ProxyCommand setting". The patch is rather straight forward; maybe it would be a good idea to improve it in a way that it uses a list of string options that may have a "none" value to reset it to NULL. Question regarding patch for ProxyCommand setting
Hi! I recently started using ProxyCommand and noticed that it's not possible to specify a "none" value for it. I've already written a patch for that, but wanted to discuss the issue before posting the patch. The problem is the following: I'd like to use a ProxyCommand by default, but exclude some hosts. But as soon as I have Host * ProxyCommand /some/proxy/command %h %p
