2.6 and 2.2
I want to upgrade to 2.6 now that it is an official release. I have one box that is connected to the UPS via the serial port ('master'). I have another box that connects to the master over the network. Can I upgrade the master to 2.6, leaving the other box at 2.2, or do I need to upgrade everything to 2.6 at the same time? Eventually I want to bring everything up to 2.6, but I

(newb) Installing on windows w/Eaton 5110.
I like to think of myself as reasonably intelligent when it comes to systems (MS in Comp Sci, albeit a few hundred moons ago), but I seem to be missing something when it comes to installing NUT on a 64 bit windows XP system. I downloaded and attempted it install but the installer said I needed to install libusb manually. So I went and grabbed that, unpacked the ZIP file and ran the

NUT - General Concept Question
...ttp://networkupstools.org/docs/man/upssched.conf.html It has been a while since I last set up the NUT CGI components, but I suspect you can just list each UPS in the template for upsstats, and add in upsimage references where you want graphs: * http://networkupstools.org/docs/user-manual.chunked/ar01s02.html#_cgi_programs * http://networkupstools.org/docs/man/upsstats.cgi.html * http://networkupstools.org/docs/man/upsimage.cgi.html You can ignore upsset for a read-only dashboard. We don't have a lot more documentation on the CGI scripts (other than reference material), so if you don't...

NUT - General Concept Question
I've been looking over the documentation and several installation guides for NUT, and I'm starting to get a little bit of a feel for what it is. But I'm still not clear whether what I'd *like* to accomplish is actually practical using NUT. Perhaps someone here can tell me if they've done something similar, or if I'm way off base. I would like to set up a Linux host as a

Adding power devices support to Fusion Inventory
Dear Fusion Inventory fellows, I've been thinking about working on adding power devices knowledge to inventory systems for years. Following the last Ubuntu Developer Summit, I know have an "excuse" to do so: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/servercloud-p-cloud-power-management My below proposition is related to the above blueprint. So please keep in mind that the
