Aquamarine: The KDE Window Decorator
Hi,
I have added compiz support to aquamarine.
You can download it directly from beryl svn:
svn co svn://svn.beryl-project.org/beryl/trunk/aquamarine/
To install:
./autogen.sh
./configure --enable-debug=full
./make
./sudo make install
You can use kcontrol to set the decoration and decoration specific settings.
You can post bugs to the ber...

KDE window decorator
I've added a working KDE window decorator (kwd) to head. It's pretty
much written from scratch however it borrows some trivial code from
aquamarine which I didn't feel re-implementing.
So why did I write a new one from scratch instead of improving
aquamarine?
I started out by trying to improve aquamarine but as I looked at the
code and figured out what had to change to make it work properly I
realized that a re-write was the best way to...

Actualmente solo visualizo la de la capa base, el mdt.

Continuous legend colors
Dear List,
I am trying to get a basic plot to show a continuous range of fill colors. It is probably easiest to demonstrate. I would like a legend like in the following example:
Satellite.Palette <-colorRampPalette(c("blue3","cyan","aquamarine","yellow","orange","red"))
require(fields)
image.plot(volcano, col = Satellite.Palette (500), legend.lab="Scale")
contour(volcano, levels = seq(90, 200, by = 5), add = TRUE)
However, I am using the basic plot function. So far I have figured out how t...

Satellite ocean color palette?
Dear List,
Is there a color palette avaliable similar to what is used in satellite ocean color imagery? I.e. a gradient with blue on one end and red on the other, with yellow in the middle? I have tried topo.colors(n) but that comes out more yellow on the end. I am looking for something similar to what is found on the CoastWatch web page:

Multiple Assignment built into the R Interpreter?
Dear R Core,
working on my dynamic factor modelling package, which requires several
subroutines to create and update several system matrices, I come back to
the issue of being annoyed by R not supporting multiple assignment out of
the box like Matlab, Python and julia. e.g. something like
A, C, Q, R = init_matrices(X, Y, Z)
would be a great addition to the language. I know there are several

R demos
Hi All,
I am currently preparing some form of slideshow introducing R and its
capabilities for some colleagues. The thing will be about 30 mins, and
I'd like to have some "pretty pictures" and some "amazing facts" (I'm
trying to sell, obviously :)).
Can I ask if it's possible to easily retrieve a gross figure of the
number of functions in R considering the
