I can bind my server to the domain.
I can run wbinfo -g, -t, -u -p without error and get users from AD
I can run getent groups passwd and get the users and groups from AD
Here are the results from trying to connect to a share with smbclient
from localhost:

Getent doesn't work with AD users

Active Directory.
Running wbinfo -u and wbinfo -g shows all users from the ad.
When trying to getent passwd I only get local users and no users from the
Active Directory. No output in /var/log/messages.
When restarting winbind i get the following in /var/log/messages

NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
Hi!
After an upgrade of our Suse installation (9.2 to 10) Samba doesn't work
any more.
I have come so far that wbinfo and getent works perfectly but when
trying to connect with smbclient i get the following:
AQMLIN03:~ # smbclient //AQMLIN03/gemensam -U root

log.smbd says:
