No dialtone in a E1
...o asterisk, and in the asterisk box I have a TE110P
card connected to a E1. When a SIP client makes a call through the E1, I
received no dialtone in the SIP client.
In the same manner, when somebody from the POTS network makes a call to a
SIP client (through * and the E1) he doesn't receive the apropiate tone of
call progress. Does anyone has some ideas about this?

ogg-cdparanoia.py: small linux cd rip tool
...www.xiph.org/paranoia/), sox (http://sox.sourceforge.net/) and
oggenc (http://www.vorbis.com/). The process is simple: for each track,
cdparanoia is called to extract the audio to a temporary wav file. Sox
is used on it to see if it is normalized. If it is, oggenc is called on
it to generate the apropiate .ogg version. If it isn't normalized, sox is
called on it to normalize it, and the output is fed directly to oggenc.
The result is that you only need enough hard disk space to hold the
track being compressed, and the generated ogg files. It could be made
to not store _any_ temporary fil...

Shockwave - any progress?
I have achieved much of what I wanted to achieve using Wine, with one
exception. I was hoping to be able to use Shockwave content, but despite
installing Firefox and the Shockwave plugin, it does not work - it seems
to stop after the promotional film before the actual requested content.
I know there are "pay" solutions to this problem, but was wondering if
anyone had found a free

Inherited node tagging
Dear all,
I have observed a behavior that doesn''t seem (to me) to match the
documentation. Specially, about tagging, the doc says:
"
Automatic Tagging
All language statements enclosed in a node, define or class structure (read
more about puppet control structures [[Language Tutorial]] ) will
automatically be tagged with the name of that statement. These automatically-

servers blocked on ocfs2
...==================================
As you can see, it seems problem started at same time in both nodes.
This nodes have a crossover cable on a dedicated eth interface in the
private net 192.168.1.0; we use OpenVZ on these hosts, so kernel is
OpenVZ patched and we recompiled ocfs2 sources to get apropiated ocfs2
modules.
Configuration file is the same on both nodes, this one:
/node:
ip_port = 7777
ip_address = 192.168.1.3
number = 0
name = heraclito
cluster = ocfs2
node:
ip_port = 7777

munin module: manage clients and server''s config
Hello all.
Probably this question has already been posed in the context of another
software, but I am unable to find it.
I would like to implement a module which should manage munin-clients as
well as the munin-server.
Here is what I am thinking about implementing:
- There are two classes: munin::client and munin::server
- munin::clients'' configuration will be managed automatically.

Htb queueing problem
Hi everybody!
I''m using an edge bridge box with two ethernet cards to shape traffic in
a WAN link. I''m running Debian 3.1 stable with kernel 2.6.8 and
iproute from packages. I recompiled the kernel with the following
built-in options:
[*] 802.1d Ethernet Bridging
[*] QoS and/or fair queueing
<*> HTB packet scheduler
<*> SFQ queue
[*] QoS support
